So a friend finally payed me back and I am now sitting on a grand. I would really like to put it all in my GTP. My question is...if someone (with experience) could give me an idea as to what I should do with it I would appreciate it greatly! I need specifics like brand, type, size, and where to get it. I already have a k&n CAI, SLP exhaust, biilet grill, viper remote start, and a killer sound system. I would really like to get more power out of it so again, if anyone could help me out it would be GREAT!!!! Oh yeah its an 04.

nothing. put that $1000 into your bank account. youre incapable of modding your own car if you are incapable of deciding what to put into it.

I agree with whats said. You've got $1000 so sit on it for right now. Don't go out and waste it on **** you'll never use. First just search the forums, check out a few aftermarket manufacturers and see what you like. Come up with a plan and then come back and ask. We do get these questions quite a bit. If it was me I'd find a built trans and a set of headers. Currently I do have both of those for that very same reason lol.

Thanks for the help people! Now I have to say 2 heads are better than one! If I wanted to put the money in my accout I would have done it! I was hoping that someone could tell me from thier own experience what a couple of good mods would be. So thank Papino, blowfishrus, and torqueauto... I like how you read a question and responded without your 2 cents! I have a grand what do I need 2 extra cents...I got a cold one and Im ready to browse!!! chssss....gulp....ahhh

you have so many options that we cant even tell you what would be a good start. 80% of the people will tell you to do headers and a basic 3.4 setup, but that's the slow way about it.

i say get a cam or an intercooler.

Well you might spend a few more hundred but your gonna go faster...and it'll be for the better in the long run too.

I say with a grand...headers, ported blower/TB, intake of some sort, plugs/wires/t-stat, MPS System, and METH!! Lots of it...then probably toss a 3.2" on there.

Then save for bigger injectors and put a cam in and say hello to the 2.8" area.

That sounds like my setup..... but my transmission is so destroyed won't put any power to the wheels!!!

Might want to think about our cars weakest point from 3.2 pulley and down....the trans...
