never said there was anything wrong with that logic. that was my logic that i posted earlier

at different points in my modding history tho different intakes worked better.

so one intake is not going to suite EVERYBODYS needs. also some cars might take better to certain intakes than others.

im simply saying that is not ONE intake is best for everybody.

and well like said earlyer, i dont really see the big deal with this topic. its easy to swap intakes around. see what works best for you. some intakes might work better in summer time while other intakes might work better in the winter time.

see what works best for you.

Nice man, someone has themselves a monster there! That's the cleanest valvecover I've ever seen on one of these cars

my view behind it is yes, while cool air is better for the engine, when your moving anywhere past 40 mph your engine bay is gonna be close to ambient as it is. So someone who said im not all about wot all the time, well when your not goin wot, the hot air will give you better gas mileage anyway. Thats why i think an open cone is best. When your getting on it, the air flowing through the engine is gonna be close to ambient anyway... and when your only at about 2k rpms... your not on your car hard enough to worry about anything happening. butttt im just beating a dead horse here and again, thats just my opinion.

oh yea we have that ability dont we

i say you just run a 5 inch tub to the back of the car and slap a open cone on it

This debate will always exist until car are all electric

then the debate will be how many resistors to use to fool the computer and boost watts
