Buy a $4 can of carb cleaner and find your vac leak.
i almost would put money its the T boot under snout.
^^THIS.
Any rubber "T" fittings around the LIM and the the one running from the TB to the EVAP.
They have all been replaced he said.
could have knocked it loose on pulley install
ill go buy another set of New "T Boots" and new Vac lines Ill find this ****.
I was using the hard T's from autozone.
didnt know they had rubber ones
What's the bbv solenoid delete and what's the purpose if you don't mind me asking.
And to the OP if you took the throttle body off or whoever installed the headers took it off, I'd remove it again and make sure no old gaskets jammed between mating surfaces.
i bought rubber T's at autozone too.
I buy them from the dealer because the one form the BBV all the way back to the MAP is only $18. Saves a lot of headache too because it comes with all new plastic lines and rubber fittings...I then lubed them just to prevent future dry rotting...or at least dry rotting as fast as most of them do. It's just as the saying goes work smarter not harder...
My bet is TB gasket.
why do you say that? i have a brand new gasket
and To Nick (Blue) i went to price check that Vac line and it was 30$ with the Rubber T's from the dealership. Aren't the ones GM sells (plastic Vac lines) really ****ty? i know my original ones broke when i was installing my LIM gasket a few months back.
buy a $4 can of carb cleaner and find where the leak is!
:th_sign-withstupid: check for the leaks before actually throwing parts at the car
Spray it around the engine and when the leak is found the idle will go up. Please read stuff... It has been stated time and time again.
