Ok well I am about to order a bunch of stuff and the main question I have is...With an engine with just over 100k (very well maintained) be ok with a 3.2 with supporting mods? I know the varibles and everything on this but i'm talking more like can the stock head gaskets handle that much boost?? And if anyone can point out anything that i missed in my mod list like gaskets ect or other suggestions...LET ME KNOW!! Thanks fellas

    ALL FROM ZZP
    autolite 104's
    aluminum 1.9 roller rocker package

    fullsize intercooler
    supercharger coupler
    pacesetter coated headers

also be a good idea to repalce your valve cover gaskets as well as get zzp's aluminum LIM gasket set. if the car's been taken care of it'll be alright, your tranny on the other hand may not be lol.

I can only run a 3.25 pulley with my mods. Keep in mind the XP bleeds off some boost so without the cam, a 3.4 with too much fuel and lowered timing was the best I could do with modded 1.9 rockers. It's more important to get a good AFR and ~17 or 18* of timing and then find the right pulley to make those other two things happen without knock.

ok well i already have the valve cover gaskets but what makes the aluminum gaskets better...or are they??

And the tranny has been real good to me so far...no slipping or anything...yet

Well i'm also going to have a fullsize intercooler...witch i didnt see in your mod list...I have to pick a pulley size when ordering because there is no way i'm putting that press on 3.8 back on there....so thats why i went with the 3.2 as a starting point...good choice?

3.2 will probably fine. You can always remove some timing if you have to with your tuner. I'd go with modified stock rockers myself. I've seen various roller rockers eat themselves and you can save some money as well.

I'm running the plastic intake gaskets myself. Aluminum is better for long term, but I doubt my car will go that long without me ripping into the upper end anyway. I also don't run Dexcool, so one up for longevity.

We've got turbo L36 Impalas running stock head gaskets and 20+PSI on some runs. No issues.

We've got a thread just recently about the EGR. Take a look at it. If you follow my method, you don't need to do anything to the PCM. If you disable it completely (disconnect and unplug it) you will have to remove codes.

I'm running on FelPro gaskets right now. No idea what they can hold, but I'm fine right now.

Well i would like to remove it compleatly because of the ic install and it possibly clogging the ic. so as far as blocking anything off in the lim or headers or anything...what needs to be done?...i will take a look at the thread anyway...thanks

    ZZP 78mm polished TB ordered
    S/C coupler ordered
    MPS 3.2 ordered

S/C is inlet is being ported to match the 78mm TB
S/C outlet is being ported as well
S/C is being polished and snout bearings replaced along with the installation of the mps and the coupler.

All the above work is being done by brian (AKA reptile)

    I also just ordered ---

    al-104's
    stock modified rockers
    comp cams #105 springs
    comp cams retainers
    comp cams valve locks
    new belt for the 3.2
    FS Intercooler
    prj fuel logs
    pacesetter coated headers

So once everything gets back from being ported and polished the build will begin...If any one has any tips or tricks about anything that is about to be done be sure to let me know...or if you think i forgot something. thanks
