If you have gas in your oil that's not good. Could mean bent valve, valve not touching the seat therefore constant fuel not being burnt. Eventually you washt the cylinder walls and your block needs bored and honed.

i dont think it would be that, but i will find out when i put new mls gaskets in. id still like to know if the egr sticking could have done it, probably not but i dont know. and also more on the fuel getting pulled thru the carbon canister?
talked to a tech at work and he said with that evap flow during non purge code i should try new evap purge solenoid and valve and see if the code stays off, said that it could very well cause it. parts from gm will be here saturday
put new valve and solenoid on and now that code is gone and staying off so now the only code left is the mil control circuit malfunction? where should i even start?
family shop has a snap on scanner that will read everything, mil control circuit manlfunction is the only code on it now, how to go about fixing it i dont know, i have saw all kinds of different things on the internet about it, could be cluster, or wire rubbed thru on harness or bad pcm. and i also work at a dealer, so this will get figured out one way or another:th_laugh-lol2:
and the hood goes nowhere:th_nanana: lol
there are now no codes, all is good there, but its still getting gas in the oil??? decided to pull the vac line off the regulator again today, i couldnt get it to leak but if i smell the vac line it smells like gas, so i guess im going to try changing the regulator and see if it helps.
changed regulator, changed oil and about 50 mile and its overfull again:th_shakinghead2:
im sorry, if you're getting gas in the oil, leaky injector?
have you tried taking it to a mechanic even if just to diagnose
I'm saying bent valve, valve not touching the seat, fuel not being burnt and dumped straight into your oil pan. I've had this happen before on a engine I built. It put down 193 with 8 bent intake valves and ran fine.
ditto
You don't think so, here's your proof guy! All motor build build 8 bent intake valves. Hear the miss down low, drove just fine. 193hp to wheels with mostly solid fuel in my oil, pulled engine, dropped arias 9.2 to 1 pistons in and went turbo now 450hp

Really blue you should step off my nutz. I'm bout sick of you following me like you have no friends!
can i drive that car? 452 fwhp has got to be an absolute beast in that prelude...
I don't think it's the best car, and I don't act like every other Honda owner. Was it good for the car on the dyno, hell no, did I know they were bent nope. Did Golden Eagle install the pistons with the exhaust valve reliefs on the intake side of the head yep!
Eh, I own a 06 Saturn vue with a Honda engine\trans in it. Does this make me a "Honda owner" or does that not count :)
BTW. We're getting off topic. What was the original problem? the engines oil level went UP? oil very often smells like carbon\gas due to blowby and what not.
is the oil clean and cosmetically ok other then smell?
with these cars it seems more likely that a leaky injector would be the issue versus valve float.
