Hey guys im new here and it seems u guys r a real helpful community. I was gunna post an intro thread where it belongs but i just bought my car and i got a rather troublesome problem so i figured id do an all in 1 ha......
my names dan im from boston and abt a month ago i bought myself an 05 gtp and i was drivin bak from work 2day and the monitoring system displayed this message "Reduced Engine Power" following that my car decides to turn traction control off by itself and then displayed this message "Service Traction System" the engine then shuts off giving me no power at the pedal at all. i coasted it in2 a nearby parking lot and as im turnin in2 a spot my power steering cut out...fml this things a boat lol i manage 2 turn the wheel and park it and i look at my dash and the check engine light is on 2 =/
after calling roadside assistance and all that crap that is pretty much useless in my opinion (but thats just my opinion) i turn the car on and the check engine lights off and its driveable again. after abt 10 miles i get the same problem again. i popped the hood and noticed grease slung up in2 my engine...maybe this is happening cuz the cv boot ripped and its hittin electronics? any input on this wld b greatly appreciated =)
