Right, and that X amount of gasoline is (roughly) the same regardless the number of cylinders. If you split it up between more cylinders you need less fuel per cylinder to make the same amount of power.

You're probably right. I've never looked at the flow pattern on a fuel injected V8 through a tuner....hell...this car was my first modified Injected V6.

I'm not going to argue about what I don't know...I'm gonna have to study this subject. It would only make sense to actually have to use more fuel for more cylinders...and the M112 moving more air.

I still have a little bit of the old school carb in me I guess.

What year Cobra's run 42.5 injectors?? I got my injectors from an 04 Cobra dn they are 39#. Of course there was a lot of talk that they flowed like 42#ers and I did have to lighten my IFR table after the initial change to 39#. They are blue and the Lightning injectors are green. Just wondering when the Cobras changed.

Well Rick....I ASSumed that they were 42.5. I know that they run on different fuel pressure than ours from what I've read before I got mine. This might be worth digging into a little more.

The green Lightnings are definitley 42's and is reflected in my IFR table. I thought the Cobra ones were 39 as well.

edit: Rick I just looked at your IFR table and it is tuned for 39# injectors.

I guess where I went wrong was I was under the impression that the Lighnings, the Harleys and Cobras used the same engine....not so much.

Is this the injectors you bought?
    621031FM Injector

They probably came from ZZP and if so they are supposed to fit without adapters.

I agree with you. It certainly would make sense. Are the Harleys s/c? I thought that was just a dress-up package. See how much I know.

btw When I bought the SS it was between it and an 02 Cobra convertible. I liked the look and size of the SS better... me = minority.

In 02 the H/D F150s were supercharged. They had the same engine as the Lightning, just a different crank pulley to lower the boost a tad. When the redesigned H/Ds came out they werent supercharged, but IIRC in 07 you could order the Roush package from Ford that came with a blower.

I really dig the H/D F150s. After driving a Lightning around for a weekend I fell in love. I however need a 4 seater for the little one. So what better??
