I'll tell you one thing...TB is worthless since you have no mods and the plugs you have are way too cold.

That's pretty much the stock boost on these cars. If you get any higher than that on a stock pulley, then it would mean you have exhaust flow problems.

easy champ he has the 3.4 pulley and headers coming. He did the TB mod because we have a hook up and got the TB for damn near free and a MAF for free. The 3.4 pulley is going on then headers then I hope to convince him to go turbo!

So you think the boost creep is being caused by exhaust flow issues? He did get some patch work on his exhaust that sucked.. its pretty restrictive

I was doing 9 psi peak a few days ago on an almost stock setup. I asked around and everyone said that's what they push from factory. I installed a 3" DP and deleted the cat which was clogged like two days ago and now its doing like 6 psi peak with the other mods in my sig.

In overall, the better you flow, the lower psi you'll get. There was a thread about how much boost everybody was doing here not long ago. There's more explanation about it in there.

Right...well considering a N* pedal feel is sh!t whether it is free or not, who cares. You don't need a bigger TB until you get rockers/cam or a pulley smaller than a 3.4" for sure. Should have hogged out your stock TB or got a LS1 and just had the bracket rewelded. So since you know everything...I mean...you should know a TB is pointless at your mod level...so yeah, moron?

you sir need to know who your talking about before you go insulting people..bluegtp91 knows more about these cars then most on this board. if you think your northstar tb is doing anything on a stock car then YOU are the moron. i hope your air/fuel ratio is outa wack now and running lean so we can all have a good laugh when it breaks

    a) those are normal boost levels for stock. it will always spike in the high rpm no matter what pulley or motor setup you run.

    b) blue is right on everything he has said.

    c) who the **** cares if you have a 700 hp gto, that has nothing to do with a grand prix and how to mod it. get a life.

This got a little out of hand.... The advice i give, is... on a STOCK throttle body, and a STOCK m90 case, and a STOCK motor, that car will make more power with a turbo kit than wasting money on an m90 setup. Turbo's are and always will be much better than a blower until you get into top fuel cars, then there's just no turbo that can make power that instantaneous.

who cares? have you ever felt that kind of power?? obviously not... but here these guys are ****ting on my buddy for having a mod... so i decided to **** on them for being dicks. The dude has spent a FOTUNE on this car and runs a 13.4 and that gives him the right to **** on my buddy?? Horsepower talks NOTHING ELSE!

LOL I ran a 13.4 on a 3.4" pulley...with 10psi...and headers...and a cam. With about a grand or so worth or work. So good job knowing nothing as I don't really give 2 cents about car domain anymore...but thanks for trolling and checking everything out

Whooptie do. I'd like to see time slips of your car. Or pics for that matter. Oh wait...I could care less...I was giving you 2 honest TRUTH, but if you don't like to you can stick it up your ass. As for the horsepower talks statement...your more ignorant than your friend...horsepower sells, torque wins races...go learn that quote. I bet you can't even put 700 horsepower to the ground..you probably run a 14 flat at a billion MPH.

once again, who cares how much power youre making? i bet a got an $1800 crotch rocket in my garage that'd spank you. it might make 100 whp. whoopie.

i told you want you wanted to hear. youre not going far without a lot into the motor with these cars. 300 whp is a lot of power with an m90 setup and 400 whp is a lot with a turbo setup. even then youll still be FWD, have traction problems, and run way slower than it should because you either wont be able to drive it right or you wont run slicks on it (and if you do then say bye to your transmission).

I would love to see your 1800 crotch rocket run 9s.. by the way im really confused at why you guys don't care about horsepower? Why spend all this money and time if not for horsepower?
