i have been working on porting the outlet of my blower using a rotary file on a router. so far i have removed the H-Bridge opened up the outlet and just cleaned everything up.

Question #1 on the outlet itself after porting it it leaves a sharp 90* angle. will this cause turbulence inside the blower and slow the air going into the lim down?

#2 what should i do with the slits? i have heard if people filling them in with epoxy i don't know if thats a good idea though

ive been wanting to do the same thing. i was told that you have to weld the slits with aluminum. thats your best bet. because i know i dont want anything breaking off and getting into my engine.

you can leave a sharp edge if you want. a rounded, or angled, edge will just give the air coming out of the blower casing a little smoother transisition to the lower intake. how effective is it? who knows, it could potentially be a marketing gimmick, but i can't say i've seen a lot of people stray away from it. this is what my blower looked like, FYI (ignore the filled slits, you don't want to waste your time with it, trust me):

"slits" are silencer ports that only make it louder at part throttle when filled.
