Well, I'm pretty bummed about this. I just completed a swap into my Gt. During the swap, I installed, headers, magnaflow exhaust, plugs, stat, cai, 3.4 pulley etc. I had a local guy tune the car last week. I prob. drove it about 200 miles after tune, and beat on it about 1/4 of that time. After a day of running it hard, I was just cruising around enjoying the weather, when I started hearing a knocking sound. I pulled over, and checked my oil.... sure enough, looks like bass boat paint. Filled with metal shavings. Think this is from a bad tune? or could I have put too much power to a higher mileage motor (150k)? Either way, the engine is coming out in a couple weeks and replaced with an engine out of a bonneville ssei that I just bought. From there, I don't want to blow this engine with a crap tune...
