Hey all, I do not post on here much. I have some parts that have been waiting way too long to go on the car and am finally getting around to installing everything. So, I am looking for some basic help and guidance. Thanks in advance!

The car currently has the mods listed in my signature...pretty basic stuff. I have a 2" IC setup as well as 1.8 rockers waiting to go on. First off, are there any decent write-ups on these installs anywhere? I have found one or two for the rockers, which are just ok, but not a lot of good information out there. Otherwise are there any generic/standard sort of tips and warning for doing this?

The IC has a ported lower intake with it. I was digging around and actually found someone suggesting that there was little to no difference to be gained from it...and I would like more input on that. If there is little to be gained in my situation, I would rather save the effort, sell the ported LIM, and save the $50 on gaskets. Yea, and why are intake gaskets $50?!?

From there I have questions about pulleys. More reading leads me to believe that it is cheap insurance to upgrade to a metal 3.5" idler pulley, so I will pick one up. I also think that a 3.2" pulley is as far as I can safely go without upgrading injectors. With that said, does anyone have any clue what belt would work with a 2" core, 3.2" pulley, and 3.5" idler pulley? On top of that, any idea if I might be able to get away with the same belt with the 3.4" pulley until I get my hands on a puller?

Then on to spark plugs. What is the rule of thumb there? Any suggestions for a specific plug, as well as gap? Any other ideas, such as where to put the IC pump and how to wire it? I remember also reading that the alternator and/or coil pack has to be shimmed, is that right?

I am sure there are more newb questions that I will come up with, but any and all support to start is appreciated.

With what I am doing, will the injectors make it with a 3.1" pulley, or is the 3.2" about as far as I can go?

Just so you know your sig doesn't show up. As far as the ported lower intake goes I never had one or never have installed a W2A IC (water to air). But from what I have read to get the most out of one you want to have your lower intake ported and your s/c ported for an IC. Which at the very least involves removing the "wall" on the outlet side. What brand and version IC do you have. Because I know the zzp ones need to have the ported lower intakes to keep the pcv function function able. You should be fine with your stock injectors down to a 3.1 pulley but you should do something like a fuel pump rewire. But also how far you can push your stock injectors also depends on the condition of your fuel system, like the pump, and filter.

I am not sure what is up with the signature, I am adding it manually here. I do not plan on porting the blower. I believe this is an Intense 2" intercooler, as I know it is not the MAP one...the core on this one is pretty good. I will be sure to add in the fuel pump rewire...are there any instructions on that floating around? I am curious as it how intensive it will be before I get into it.

The fuel pump rewire requires you to open your trunk, unbolt a couple of bolts and plug it into the fuel pump, find a nice ground and then run it to the front of the car to the fuse box.

I'm not sure on Intense's IC need for LIM porting. But regardless, all that happens is you knock a section out of the LIM like andrew said, not too extravagant but it is better off you do it and get done with it.

You can get a I/C pump relay from W-body store I believe for wiring.

It is best to find someone local to help you, or to buy a full kit with directions, but since you already have the stuff, it will take a little patience to learn how to do it right and a lot of good judgement on who you listen to on here.

The only reason I mentioned porting the blower was to allow you to get full use out of the IC. Maybe this link will help INTENSE-Racing.com: <b><i>INTENSE</b></i>™ Ported Gen 3 M90 Supercharger Housing

Can I get any recommendations on spark plugs? Which ones, and what gap?

I seem to remember reading awhile back where someone had swapped in a different hood latch as opposed to cutting on the stock brace...any information on this?

I am using injector spacers. I have them on there, but wanted to make sure I am not missing anything. I would think that the spacer would go between the rail and the injector...is that correct? I ask because it seems like the injector on #6 does not have enough wire to reach, or something else in that region is interfering. Is there anything else I need to do in that area to make things fit?

Yes they go between the inj, and the rails. I can't help you on the wire being too short though.

I have everything installed. The intercooler is not running yet, but the car is still running much stronger. The boost is down to 8/9PSI from 12/13PSI...I am assuming from the the better exhaling the car is doing with the rockers and PLOG?

However, the check engine light has come on from the EGR valve. Anyone care to share with me the solution to this?

Shut it off with a tuner. Do you know anyone close with a tuner? I set mine to no reporting with the pt.

After getting everything installed I came across information on the PCV system. Is there an easy way to tell if my PCV is still functional? I pulled the PCV valve, and there was fresh oil on it. There is no vacuum or pressure when I pull the oil cap with the engine running. It seems like it is doing the job, but I would like to be sure.
