So I just got my aeroforce gauge, i haven't mounted it in the pillar yet since im waiting on another gauge. but i couldnt help pluging it in and play with it. I scanned for knock. I did a pull up a hill and on flat ground i'm getting 2.8-3.1 on the initial stomp and it quickly goes down as the speed picks up. How bad are those numbers? I know 0 is ideal and i'd like to get there.

I'll bet if you step down to AL 104's some of it will go away.

I actually just put the al 104s in when i did the LIM a couple weeks ago, never changed the sig. but i did some reading on the aeroforce online manual in the menu of the gauge there is three different selections for knock retard and all 3 were selected. I selected the first one which is the correct one for gm cars and did another run. at most I saw .4 when leaning on the gas about (%80) but the second i let off the gas it spiked to 2.6, was that just the motor sitting back down that caused that or just plain old bad knock?

Did you actually just plug it in and it worked? I thought you had to run the power wire as well on our cars for it to work? I have some dual aeroforces and boost gauge going in soon.

you need your car tuned better and any of the knock youre experiencing wont happen anymore. all of that can be tuned out. its the knock that INCREASES and speed and boost increases that you sometimes wont be able to tune out and thats where you either decrease boost or timing.
