I 've got the normal rocks in a pop can sound from the coupler. I went to my local dealer the other day to pick up something else and I told him I wanted the parts break down and the price for a new coupler. He couldn't find either. I found one on ebay that was the coupler and two countainers of oil. Is this where everybody gets theirs or what?
Also, are there any gaskets to change when you pull the assembly?
    Thanks

You can get the coupler at zzperformance but ebay works too. You wont need to replace any gaskets if you just take the snout off the s/c but some sealant wouldn't hurt when putting it back together.

The parts guy at the dealer gave me a look like he had never heard of it before.

Yeah... a dealership would only be interested in replacing the whole s/c

Yes, the stealership does not belive in repairing their s/c. only a complete replacement, for a rediculous price. ZZP, or ebay. and youtube has a decent video on how-to replace it.

the poly coupler that ZZP makes is the one you want. it will last longer than another OEM one.

Thanks everyone. I am going order one this weekend. I already had plans to take the clay to the paint. It is going to be nice saturday here in WV so I figured I would clean it up and put the first coat of wax on for the spring. Hey has anybody actually seen the custom grills form ebay? I have been looking at two.

Does anybody know the quality of these two?

The first one bubbles out, looks like sh!t. A buddy of mine has similar ones on his Grand Am, they look cheap.
