Ok so this has been going on for a while and I have just dealt with it until now. There is a very slow coolant leak, and im talkin like maybe half a gallon every 2-3 months. I am sick of smelling burning coolant though and im sick of having to put it back in there. Its a very small piece on the lower intake manifold on the end. Its right by the crossover pipe. There are two small bolts that bolt it on. I took it off to replace the gasket when I rebuilt my motor. I couldn't figure out what it was so I just used some rtv and gasket material but evidently that didn't work. If anyone knows what this part is that would be great! Thanks.

That's the metered coolant flow going to the rear head. I'd go find the gasket that goes on it and put it in...

I dont know how easy it will be to find that gasket. I ended up having to have one made up out of a roll of rubberized gasket material that you can get from Autozone.

Ok thank you very much. I know it was a bad idea not fixing that right away but boy is it in a ****ty spot I guess ill go by Elco and get ripped off real quick. Actually when I went to buy a tensioner the stealership was cheaper than Carquest! I was truly amazed.

Part number worked. This might be the cheapest part available...95 cents. He started to say 95 and I was like oh god and then he said cents. Woo! Time to go pull the crossover and whatever else might have to come off It needs to be done and then im good to go.

My great luck has lead me to break a bolt off and now this great luck is leading me to a shiny new set of pacesetters. I guess its not all bad in the end cept the 500 bucks that I had to shell out. I was gonna do it some day so I figure I might as well get it over with
