Hey guys whats up, been lurking here for a while and decided to join up today. I have an 04' GTP and the power steering pump and pulley decided to come aprt on me the other day driving. During disassembly, the pulley fell out into my hand, followed by a mangled up pump. I got the new pump and pulley, little different design than the one that was in there. My question is, the pulley and new pump are bolted down and in. The pulley now lines up with the crank pulley, but the wrong side of the crank pulley. While looking at the car from the front, the belt looks like its supposed to be on the outter slot on the crank pulley, not the inner slot where it originally came out of. Is there another belt I have to buy, and if so the oil filter bracket will not give me enough clearence to do this anyways. The pump and pulley are both on correctly, and double check they were both for my 3.8 supercharged. Im confused. Any help would be awsome. Thanks, Joe

hahaha I hear that, Ive had small problems with them but nothing like this, they probably gave me the PS pump for a non supercharged motor, hopefully I get it all straightened out and like I said Ill get osme pictures tomorrow to show what I'm saying. But it seems to be all adding up now

what probably happened is either he ****ed up or wrong product in box/manufacturer's numbers are off.

i've seen all three so don't think it can't happen.

Wow so there's three different pumps ? This is awsome. Both Pontiac dealers closed by me, looks like I'm driving for this part. This keeps getting better
