ok so i just got a 2000 gtp and am looking to start modding. i was going to start with all the preventative maintenance synthetic oil change, sc oil change, tranny flush/filter, coolant flush, clean lim,and replace all gaskets along the way etc. now for the mods home made fwi from the plans in the how too section (very clever), zzp dp with high flow cat, 104 autos, 180 tstat, pcm (suggestions?),[diy ported tb, diy ported sc (if this is stupid let me know)] 3.4 pulley, 1.9 rockers with ls6 springs, areoforce scanguage to check for KR. so far this is what i have come up with to start if you think i am missing anything or have any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. thanks

The manifolds and the downpipe/u-bend is the most restrictive part of the exhaust...so yes...get rid of em.

Just go off of the pics from ZZP...minus the fact you don't have to remove the "bridge" towards the rear of the outlet because your not going to be intercooled.

Thanks a lot that was very helpfull one more thing the inlet porting to the SC how far should I open it up to when I am just porting my stock TB. should I just port the TB and then port the inlet to match? and on the inlet how far back should I go? And will it affect the opperation of the rotors if I port too much?

Inlet is just to smooth it out with the TB right?

when porting the TB, DO NOT TOUCH the area where the blade touches the walls of the TB. Clean it up a little with some degreaser but thats about it. (carbon build up causes sticky throttle)

When you go to port your TB you'll find that you might make a small hole near the front. Just put some epoxy on the outside to keep it sealed. You can open it up quite a bit, but you can't make it perfectly round. Try searching on here for some more pics.

this is correct. do not make the blower inlet any bigger than the throttle body or youll be wasting a lot of time and effort for nothing.

maybe an inch? Just enough to blend it with the outlet of your TB.

like some JB weld? should i also fill in the coolant passages to SC to keep all of that hot coolant from heating up the SC and TB?

if you seal the coolant passages anywhere do it in the LIM so you dont have to worry about coolant seeping around the seal between the blower and the LIM. also, blocking the coolant path through the blower and the throttle body will increase rear head temperatures by blocking the coolant path partially. do a little research on it before you jump right into it to make sure you do it right. youll have to take the cap off the drivers side of the LIM and open it up more to get that flow back.
