Well isnt it my lucky day go out turn the key and nothing. I dont hear the fuel pump kicking on, checked all the fuses and there all good and it wont start like its not getting gas. Does it seem right autozone wants 260 for a new one? Well my question is where exactly is it located? Im hoping you dont have to drop the gas tank but I cant find any forums on "how to", or location or nothing.

the pump is accesible through the trunk... where the cupholder thing folds down it back seat, its right behind there under the carpet.. it has several little bolts holding on access panel... did u check the fuel pump relay also? price on pump sounds reasonable.. i replaced one a few years ago and i paid over 300 for mine.

That is great info, thanks. I kept my stocker with the bucket and sender when I bought a new Airtex pump assy for over $300. What a fool I felt like after learning about the much cheaper alternatives. (In my own defense it was Christmas Eve when the pump went out and I had a critical need for the transportation so I basically bought one from the first place in town that had one in stock) I will be upgrading to the 255 soon and I'll sell you my airtex for $110 .
