First of all, I have read the post about safely modding ur 3800 thread and I had one question. I have a 3.5" pulley that I would like to put on but I don't know if Im ready. My friend says that I am ready but just want to hear other opinions first. My only mods are 180 t-stat, u-bend delete, fwi, autolite 104's, flowmaster catbacks, and a light dhp tune. I know obviously to get headers and so forth but money is somewhat and issue at the moment.

You need to get headers or some real exhaust work. ie dp and plog.

this is exactly what you need. some actual exhaust work where the exhaust is bad.

Alright. I guess I'll hold for the pulley but as for the "light tune" I meant like my friend only changed a few things like my fans for a 180 t stat changed the shift points to 5750 little things like that cause I want to be more safe than sorry......

No point to shift above 6k unless you have a cam and head work. Get the fueling set up good and then add or pull timing.
