Howdy folks. I just picked up my new (to me, obviously) 2000 GTP last night. I have Seafoamed all of my cars when I purchase them, and then again at regular 1 year intervals. I've done some searching on the forums, but can't seem to find a consensus on the forums about Seafoaming our 3.8 S/C engines. I see some posts saying to use the brake booster (this is what I have always used on my other cars), some say to use a vac line into the S/C and yet others say not to use it on the S/C engines at all. So, what's the word?

Anything that gets the Seamfoam into the engine is fine. I have done the vacuum lines before, but have better results pouring it into the throttle body. It is just as safe on these engines as any other.

And the coating on the rotors of the blower just doesn't matter?

Seafoam will not take the coating off the rotors. And every vac line on top to the supercharger goes in the same hole to the same spot.

Some people say it will, others say it won't. Why not just use the port below the blower and avoid it all together?

i foamed mine through the brake booster vac line... my rotors were fine when i did an engine swap a few months later. from what i understand the brake booster line is the only one that goes to all 6 cylinders.
