    FIRST POST HAHAHA

Ok, I just bought a 97 GTP from a family member, mods that were already done to it by my uncle were 3.4 pulley, Custom FWI, 3in DP, 3in to 2.5in dual dynamax's (no cat/res or u-bend), 180 T-Stat, MSD coils, Taylor 8mm Wires, 1 range colder spark plugs (i was told), i might be forgetting something but i think i got everything.

i am doing some what of a tune-up to the car because its had about 6k miles put on it in 5 years, new engine oil/filter, new S/C oil, Spark Plugs, Smaller S/C belt (stock belt w/ 3.4 right now).

NOW my question is with these mods are the 1 range colder plugs ok or do i need to go 2 ranges colder? I read almost all of bluegtp91 3800 Modding Sticky but didnt really see the answer i was looking for so thats why im askin for help...

You need a stock pulley. One heat range cooler is right for a 3.4" tho.

You do not have the supporting mods for a 3.4 pulley so your chances of blowing it up are high.

What didn't you see? You have no tune...I covered the spark plug temperature range in there...as long as the belt size and what needs to be done to properly run that 3.4"...you want the hottest spark you possibly can get. Your going to need more flow mods to safely run that 3.4"...that and buy a resonator...You car sounds like poo.

yes, it has...and it might be a 3.5 pulley because he cant remember what he put on it and i measured the stock one he gave me, i got 3.8. I couldnt get a good measure on the other one because of it installed but it def. a 3.4/3.5 pulley

So put the stocker back on or get more flow mods.
