Re: Tips for a beginner?
I emailed speed daddy and they said they got the new headers in and they would be going up on ebay very soon so keep looking for them.
Here are the pages to Dna and Speed Daddy (same company basically).
eBay Store - dnamotoring: auto performance, racing parts, low price
eBay Store - speed daddymotor: CAM GEARS, CERAMIC HEADER, OIL CATCH RESERVOIR TANK

Re: Tips for a beginner?

Re: Tips for a beginner?
Overkill or dhp for pcm
Overkill will be hard to get ahold of but from what i hear he is a wiz with these pcms
-
Re: Tips for a beginner?
I have heard a lot of good thing about overkill I am goinbg to go with him soon too
-
Re: Tips for a beginner?
^^I'd go with DHP.
Best PCM to date and no one has EVER had an issue...except for the guy who tried to use one on this High Compression Bottom End.

2004 2005 CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO V6 6pc STAINLESS HEDAER : eBay Motors (item 190375782688 end time Mar-26-10 13:27:56 PDT)
Ok, so these are now up, however they say they fit gtp, ss, etc. The exhaust fit on these is the same as the base and gt correct?

Re: Tips for a beginner?
god, those look so cheap..

Re: Tips for a beginner?
Even better when your buying a set of HEDAERs

Re: Tips for a beginner?
280? for the extra 70 i'll stick with legit SSAC's
-
Re: Tips for a beginner?
Looked at both pcms and i'm thinking overkill is the way to go.. As for the headers, i wouldn't mind paying the extra $70-80 for SSAC's, but is it really worth it?

Re: Tips for a beginner?

Re: Tips for a beginner?
Because since the beginning of modding the 3800 Digital Horsepower has been the only mail order PCM tuner that has never had an issue and still has the best PCM's to date even after being out of business for a few years. 3800 Performance now sells them.

Re: Tips for a beginner?
Read some reviews and I'm going to agree with you, I'll go with DHP
