Thread: Octane booster

I was under the impression they were discontinuing MMT because it is carcinogenic. I even think The Peoples Republic of California banned it.

Just go buy a gallon of Xylene, not really cost effective for every tank, but it is a primary component in some octane boosters. You can also search google for home made octane boosters and they will give the ratio of stuff to use.

Here we go, here's one link for ya, though I dont know where they were getting their Xylene, but its no $3/gal.
