soooo the lights now show how much timing you have? since knock pulls timing... and not boost... i dont understand how this would make sense? and ill admit ti could be useful for finding vacuum leaks but thats about all i see its good for well and a light show for people to go oohhhh ahhhhh lol

I know it's not really a reliable way to diagnose car problems. for that ppl should take thier cars to a mechaninc :th_thumbsup-wink:
Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
i will never take my car to a mechanic. ever.
Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
i checked for vacuum leaks and found nothing, but when i unhook the t fiting on the supercharder where the two vacuum lines come together my boost would read full, when i installed the t fitting it will only get to half boost.

Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
boost bypass valve right? wheres it located? how do you fix it?
i searched and found nothing about location or how to fix it most threads i found talk about why you should no delete it. nothing on how to fix it.
Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
you can run it vacuum controlled and disable it. take the lower vacuum line off the solenoid (it looks like a mushroom top with a lever going into the blower case) and leave it open to the atmosphere. you can then just cap off the line at the fuel pressure regulator.
Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
the light gauge shows up to twelve bars. That's roughly equal to 174 psi. I'm boosting so high!!!
Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
^^^so if stock 7ish psi gives us an extra 40hp then it will now get an additional 995.385 give or take a few numbers?

Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
what thats alot of HP's hahaha, so unplug the vacuum line coming from the t fitting the the mushroom looking thing and this will have no cons to it?
are there any pros to doing it?
heres a pic is this right
Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
the cons to it are that the car will no longer be able to cut boost under torque management or a couple other times.
i believe you have it right, i dont know how the stock vacuum line setup works since i never had one for the l67.
Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
cut boost under torque management or a couple other times
what is this under torque management?
also i thinks it tcs the button next to the boost gauge, well mine is always off the tcs off light is on and when i push the buttom it never turns on, i think the buttons broke,
could this be causeing my problem, whats tcs for
Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
look for a blown 10 amp fuse under fuse box under the hood. may or maynot be it. is ur abs light on too? torque mag. is to keep from breaking the trans/safety feature for trans.
Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
yes abs is on as well
so should i unhook the vacuum line?
what else could i do to fix the problem the right way?
Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
Could be that or a bad PCM or a bad engine ground

You have a bad wheel bearing.
Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
ya i thought that, i found some other threads talking about the same thing but what can i do to fix the boost bypass valve the right way not just unhooking it.

Just replace it with a good used one but the method that was mentioned previously will be fine
Re: new to forum....new to superchargers
i dont want a problem with the torque managment this is a daily driver and i need to keep it reliable

Then get a tuned PCM...it'll get rid of the torque management.
