Question for you guys. I'm looking at getting SD headers installed and I know I need an extension for the O2 sensor. Looks like ZZP sells two different kinds and when I asked ZZP which one I needed they wouldn't tell me because they don't sell SD headers. Can anyone tell me which one I need and do I only need one for that matter?

    You need the front. 16"

Keep in mind that you are going to have to adjust the tunnel edge/firewall where the o2 will hit it.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I see. Is that hard to do? How do you do that exactly?

Hammer time! not that hard, but make sure you have plenty of clearance. When I did my speed daddys, I left what I thought was 1/4" clearance. Not enough apparently when I put the front mounts back in place.

Now I have a false knockin' machine! Gotta get back under there with a ball peen and take my frustrations out on that firewall. Good thing it's not my DD

One thing I did for the O2 extention was wrap it in that metal duct tape you normally use for dryer vents.

By the way, leave the O2 for the end so you know exactly where you need to hammer.

I managed to get by without doing this [so far].

There was enough room to install the O2 when the rear header was tightened. That means there is at least 1/3 inch from the wires to the tunnel when the O2 is torqued down. Hope its going to be ok.

My SD's were a little wierd though. Crossover was a Bitc h. Also, more than one inch clearance between sway bar and downpipe, which is nice.

I didnt hammer mine out, It is a really close fit tho, wires might might be just barely touching the firewall, maybe thats why I have been seeing some knock and im on my stock pulley

are you saying that it is a direct connect then, or does it still need to be spliced, because i'm interested in this...

From what I could find, for both sensors, the PCM supplies 450mV, the O2 returns 1,000mV for a rich condition. The only difference is that the C5 O2 returns 10mV for lean vs 100mV lean in ours. I'm not sure if that matters much at all.
