I'm thinking about buying 1.9 rr and 105# valve spring and retainers. i was wondering what i would need to install the rockers and what it would take. i also need to know how to do it. If i could get step by step instructions (not skipping the small stuff either lol) i would appreciate it. I need step by step instructions, the tools i'll need, and how long it will be. also any tips or anything else would be appreciated. thank you all.

Are you going to romove the heads to do the springs and retainers or are you going to use compressed air to hold the valves in place while you cange the spring? there is an old method of using 1/4 in nylon rope by feeding it into the cylinder through the spark plug hole and then MANUALLY bringing that cylinder up to top against the rope so the rope is sandwiched between the piston and the combustion chamber and the valves holding them in place (you can turn the engine by hand if all the plugs are removed) while you use a valve spring comressor to remove the old and install the new springs then MANUALLY back the piston off from the rope allowing you to remove the rope then you can move on to the next cylinder repeating the forementioned process. As for tools 1, valve spring compressors use Lisle Part#59550, 2, 10mm sockets deep and a shallow, 3, 13mm socket deep well, 4, 3in. and 6in. 3/8 dr. extensions, 5, 3/8in dr. & 1/4in dr. ratchet, 6, 4in. 1/4 in. dr. extension, 7, 8mm 1/4 dr. socket, 8, 15mm socket and wrench, 9, inch lb torque wrench, 10, 5/8 spark plug socket (deep well), I might be missing a few things but I'm tired. If you have never attempted anything like this before you should at least have a little mechancal knowledge or you shouldn't do it. I'm not sure of the torque specs right off hand, just get a manual it's all there. Good luck!

The best thing you could do is have PRJ performance do the install!!! Probably be right around $200, but it will be done correctly! He lives about 20 minutes east of Indy.
    3.6", 3" Downpipe, K&N CAI, 104's, PRJ Tune, P-Log, 180 t-stat,Res delete, wideband, boost gauge. 14.11" @ 99.5

i asked about info on installing the rockers and the tools needed. so unless you've got anything useful for me, dont reply to this. and my uncle works on performance engines for a living so he's going to do the install. i was just asking about how to do the install and any tips on the install.

use compressed air to be safe. wear some safety glasses to ,,,maybe even a helmet. seriously, if u have problems wih a belt. the springs have a likely possibility of knocking, u, an eye or ur teeth out.no **** dude.pppp....sssss... i typed my post just as u were. ok so this will be a good learning lesson. go ahead and put new valve cover gaskets on. i'd buy some good vitoon valve seals and do that since ur down there.let us know how u like the diff. once u do it.

only reason i asked about belt because when i bought the car it came with a 3.4 and diff belt so i didnt need to change it out. ive never changed a belt on these cars so i asked.
