Just as it says, looking into exhausts and wondering what ppl are running. DP back. Would like something louder and deeper than factory. Any sugestions?

Well Borla definitely would be a good choice there (but you definitely have to pony up the $$$$'s). I had some old Magnaflows on my old GT but the droan they created was to much. On my GTX I have the SLP catback package and its a nice mix of low and not to intrusive inside the cabin.

I run flowmaster 40's with u-bend delete, resonator delete, and it is a nice and low sound but has a rasp to it that I don't like, I am going to be installing pacesetter headers to a 3" cutout, 3" flo-pro resonator back to the flowmasters. Cat deleted. I hope it sounds much better. If not, I will rework past the resonator to make it a full 3" exhaust...

thanks, but they are stock mufflers. the only things different is that tthe exhaust is enlarged to 2.5" and no resonator and 3.5" dual tips(which does change the tone of the exhaust somewhat)

You mean sort of like, at idle. I'm certainly not saying that, but are you?

I wanted a good sound, so I have a custom mandrel bent exhaust. 2.5" to a pair of Magnaflow XL mufflers with 3" tips. Love the sound, and the look.

Yeah, sounds good. Stock Mufflers can sound good with the right setup behind it.

I have TOGs, 3" Exh, 2.5 Y, Stock Mufflers, Fasttoys Non-Res Tips... It sounds good IMO. I was leary recently swapping my PEMs for the TOGs, I figured the TOGs would ruin the sound. It actully improved it! Its deeper at idle and cruise and the take off sounds better. Its not horribly loud, I wouldn't want it any louder. There is NO drone on the highway either...

Well I wanted to do headers but ZZP advised against it and said to do the polished manifolds... anyone know why?

I have Corsa. Not bad but still a little raspy. If you want some exhaust sound but no drone, this does it. Liked the sound with PEMs, then put on TOG Xtremes. The sound got louder behind me and even more raspy. Not sure I like them as much this way but the sound has a powerful feel to it and it's said the Corsa flows very well. I'll probably leave it this way until I hit my gaol at the track then I'll try either Magnaflow or Borla mufflers in place of the Corsas but retain the Corsa resonator.

I have the SLP powerflow on a different vehicle and love the sound. I can hear sound in the cabin but I like it and I do not think it is obtrusive and when I get on it, I love the sound. I can't stop going WOT just to hear the sound. I don't know if the SLP exhaust that came with the GTX package on James car is the power flow or not but I'd like to hear a powerflow on a SC'd header'd GTP. I'm not sure I'd like the Loudmouth, though.
