Hello I have installed a 180* thermostat and had Brian (BSP) re-tune my computer with digital horsepower. We set the fans to 180* to come on just for trial sake. I watched him save the file and flash the PCM with the updated file. After running the car the fans DO NOT come on until the car reaches 210* So we drove the car quite a while and the gauge will come back down to the 180 spot and it holds 180 just fine until you stop and idle for 5-10min and it slowly climbs to straight up and down which is 195-200, then the fans kick on and shut off just as it gets under 195.... any ideas of why the fans aren't coming on when programmed to? i just put a good brand new tested coolant temp sensor in tonight and still doing it.

just curious, why'd you gap the plugs at .052 instead of the standard .060?

Because Ive never seen anyone gap Autolites at a stock gap of .060 ive heard problems being gapped at .055 so .052 is safe and the car runs amazing.

It still runs great just because the fans don't come on doesn't make it run like **** and transmission slippage doesn't change the way the engine runs.
