Does anyone have experience with the Pacesetter headers available at zzperformance.com? Fitment? Dyno/track results? Installation issues?

I have the pacesetters. I like them. They dont fit perfect. You will have to tweak them a little but you will be very happy them. Power was a big improvement. If you already have a catback thought. You will notice an impressive difference.

I personally dont have them, but the issues I have read about were mainly sealing issues. Though, I dont recall what exactly he stated, it seems to me I remember Trannyman having some input about them as well.

Pacesetters are a good deal for the price. Just don't use the gaskets that come with them, and get the crossover welded to the y-pipe for a leak-free install. Here is a write-up for installation: www.RegalGS.org :: View topic - Pacesetter Installation - **Updated**

BlackGS, any chance we could get permission to host that write up here in our How To section?

Thanks for the great info. The installation notes are exactly what I was looking for since I don't have the funds for SLP or TOG header packages.

No problem! Feel free to copy. Someday I'll try to get a few pics to go along with it.

apperently they dont fit on the serious III tho....found this out the hard way. the front header hits the radiator fan....it says nothing on the zzperformance web site about what years they fit. to say the least im a lil disapointed.

They are a pain to install, but for the money I saved, I'd do them again.

i have one. i bought it when it first came out and everybody was buying them. lucky i had ron vogel installed it he knew about the problems with the pacesetter. he weld the Y pipe, used longer bolts for the cross pipe, and gaskets for the dp. the only issues i have were, i can't mount the tranny gauge cause the cross pipe is in the way for the sending unit to mount on and one of the rear plug wire ( i think #3) is touching the rear header.
