Well I finally decided what I wanted to do with the gtp. Going to run a high comp bottom end with a thrasher race cam with all my old stuff on top. (ported heads, lim, blower,tb,meth). Then hopefully in the spring/summer get some 65# injectors and switch to e-85. Should make for a fun car.

May i ask why you go with a thrasher cam? If you're going with it because of the sound then ok, but if you actually want to make power on ported heads then go with an xpz or an s1x with 1.8 rockers. If you notice on CGP's hp chart dyno numbers from the thrasher aren't really anything to write home about. So all in all, i suggest not going with the thrasher cam as it's IMO a junk cam.

I think it is going to be a pretty mean car dude. It'll make for for that top end that the 3800 blows balls at with the stock powertrain

Well, everyone has their own thing. I'm running something very similar to it. IMO, bottle is a cheap way to get a good track time but that's just me

Got a deal on the block an cam together. I am sure it will make all the power I need. Not going for any records and my car will probably never see a dyno. It will just be a mean sounding sob.

Well that's because you're bias to the cam because you run something "similar" to it, which is why your opinion is moot because of that, no offense. The bottle is a "cheap" way to get a good time but i can walk pretty much anything with out it, and i can walk anything with it. You want to talk about cheap times, put your money where you mouth is. Off the bottle i'll bet your car can't get within .5 seconds of mine. even with your magical cam. That just happened.

The s1x is an awesome cam, anything else intense sells is garbage. I'm not one that supports zzp however their cams are pretty much top notch. I would go with an s1x before an xp (even though i have one...) and the xpz would be the next step, unless you're turbo. I've tuned more cars than all of you, i can guarantee you that, from intense cams to zzp cams, my opinion is first hand experience not hearsay like everyone else, nor am i bias to the cam i actually run. I give out facts that make sense, not facts people want to hear.

Wow. That's fine...I could care less about being the fastest stock cam, stock M90 car...I never have and still won't use a bottle. You can't run an 11.84 without it , so who cares. Also, to quote you...THIS:

has got to be the more ignorant thing I've ever heard you say out of all your quite useful posts. So, keep running off about the stupid cam choice we made. Not everyone is in the quest for ALL FASTEST blahblahblah Grand Prix. My car...and Nick's car...will still SOUND better

Wow, well if you put it that way sound is the best route to go! Have fun sounding like an 11second car and running 13's because you made the wrong choice, i mean, the wrong choice. Yeah never mind, that's what i meant.

    wow talk about an a$$hole.

    1. Nick (blue) is a great guy, hes actually here to HELP people, not start **** like you.
    2. Nick (01GTP) can spend his money on what he wants. If he wants a huge cam, its his money. So who are you to come in here and talk ****.

Can you run a small ass pulley without an intercooler? Didnt think so. But both these guys will be able to with their "junk" cams. So why dont YOU put your money where your mouth is?

    Kthxbye

lol fools, get some amsoil that'll make everyone ok. Drink it too, i'm sure it's been approved for that. I have a vast amount of info, therefore i don't get banned. I'm right, you're wrong. Keep pushing a useless product, if you get people to buy the so be it, if you don't, that's me keeping them from wasting their money.
