No gaskets needed if using RTV. If using RTV, I prefer the Permatex Ultragrey. Make sure you get everything put STRAIGHT DOWN if using RTV...any shifting will cause leaks. I torque immediately and let sit overnight before filling with coolant or running the engine. Different people have different methods though and I'm sure someone else will chime in.

Make sure you have enough coolant to fill the IC and top off the car.

Make sure you have enough wire/heat-shrink and solder (or butt connectors, but I'd advise against it) for the Pump.

Like Sven said, no need to use gaskets. I personally use Permatex copper, cause I use that on everything, even toast. Make sure to set it down straight. A tiny movement is fine, but if it shifts a bunch you'll probably want to pull it, clean it, and retry. I do as Sven does. Apply RTV, immediately put the IC/blower on and torque to proper torque specs. (Make sure the blower spins freely as soon as you're done torquing it.) Let the RTV cure overnight and shouldn't have any leaks.

What FMHE are you using? Most types you'll end up having to trim plastic pieces, a dremel works great.

Always good to have zip-ties. I personally used Teflon tape on my FHME fittings to ensure they wouldn't leak.

Other than that, make sure you have your PCV setup correctly, and you should be golden.

Why 10w30 oil? Just curious... from what I know there's no need for that, it's too thick at start up and the same viscosity as 5w30 or 0w30 at operating temp... From what I understand, these engines already lubricate less than ideally, I'd want my oil as flowable as possible at start up. According to BITOG, 0w30 is as good as it gets for a motor that calls for 30 weight, and even that it a little too viscous at start up.

If you lived in a place where it is like summer everyday and you never see temps below 40-50º I'd run 10w30 all the time.

Saw that you were going gen v and just wanted to make sure you either opened up the gen 3 LIM or have a Gen V Lim?

Looking good, though not sure you can run a pulley that small. XD

Also, that part you blocked off, that's not the PCV, thats the EVAP. The Gen V PCV is just above and to the right of that plate in the pic.

NP, just didn't want you to think that was the PCV and have some issues down the road from an improper setup. Looking good so far.

Have you closed the hood yet to check clearance?

Emm... How else do you plan on mounting the fmhe without removing the bumper lol..

You tore part the top half of your motor surely removing a bumper won't be challenging.
