so i have a leak in the resonator and was just planning on replacing it with steel pipe, should i be concerned about anything while doing this, or should i find a replacement resonator or something like a glasspack ect just to allow some expansion? Im not looking to gain massive power but im also not looking to reduce future power or crappy sound, just stock/quiet ish.

Buy a $20 glass pack. If you weld in just a pipe it will sound like pure unfiltered ass.

you can straight pipe it with no issues, you won't loose power, gain power or anything else. Only difference is you may have a little more of a Rice Cackle at high RPM, not to incrediably noticable. My Sis's 98 GT has no res and you wouldn't really know the difference with everyday driving. If its a GTP it may sound pretty ****ty
F clean cars, I Ride Dirty!.....to hide the wicked body damage...
97 GP GTP- Mystic Teal, 218k, fixing the damage
91 Cherokee- 4 in. Lift, 31 Kumho M/T, tons of fun
03 Chevy S10- full bag setup on order, will drag frame in under a month
