I only used a little thread locker on mine (comp cam bolts), don't want to throw off torque readings. The comp cam ones are good for re-use, but there is a cheaper alternative, go to a hardware store.

the ones that keep the rockers from coming loose are best. if someone could tell you the bolt size/length of the reusable bolts then im sure you can find some grade 8's at the hardware store for about 1/4 the price.

grade 8 is usually good for a lot. you can pay for higher if you want. why wouldnt they be reusable? they arent TTY bolts.

well i guess my question is then is why the hell are the bolts torque to yeild in the first place? When they could use hardware grade bolts and re use them?

Because they were made to be modified...TTY bolts bend a little after being TQ'ed to a certain spec. Hence why you can only use them once. Cant remember but I actually found the EXACT reusable rocker bolt over at Westlake ACE hardware here in KC...$.68 a pop

why not just buy the gm bolts from either zzp or intense, its 20 bucks. why spend 69 cents on an inferior bolt and risk engine failure?

Grade 8 is a grade 8. I trusted them to hold my seat in my jeep with my 220lb ass bah haing threw a field, I am sure they can hold a rocker down.
