Just an FYI in case this wasn't covered before. I couldn't find it in a search. A NAPA (WIX) 1036 oil filter will fit in the place of the 1040 (stubby) in case anyone likes more filtering media than the little 1040 provides. I prefer a larger filter and already use the 1036 on two other vehicles I have, so it makes sense and also gives a tad more oil capacity to the system.
