if your worried about passing smog the shop can just look up the number and it will pass if its listed and your within years its listed for your fine
lol every one hates ca lol Its not that bad if you dont mind being over taxed over regulated dmv only being open 3 days a week and caltrans always on a highway making it way worse before it gets better
If me and my wife wernt in school we would be gone if the damn housing market goes up i can sell one of my properties
Try contacting SLP. For legal reasons they might make it hard for you to obtain the sticker if at all. You may or may not have trouble it just depends on how anal the smog test station is. When I lived in CA I failed a smog test due to some headers on my old Camaro even though the carb number was clearly stamped right on one of the primary tubes. So I had to go to a referee station to pass.
If you want to avoid the hassle just swap in your stock intake box before taking it for the smog test. It only takes a few minutes and you only need to smog it every other year. For my Camaro it took about a day of work to swap all the parts necessary to pass smog and then I had to swap everything back afterwards, but that is one way to stick it to those tree huggers.
I noticed that the slp box looks stock to me.. A smog shop i dont think would tell.. it looks stock.. but theres no part number on it.. Car just passed last week so i have 2 years......
I looked up the number on ca site and it came up exempt.. but how can they match the number when theres no numbers on the intake? have a good one
Most smog shops run it like this if it looks legal it is
Itt looks like a stock box you will pass fine
no need to worry
To me i have 2 years cars smoged last week with stock airbox..
I noticed that there was a Gap between the slp intake and the fender.... So i deceded to seal it.. now theres no gap....
I notced by scanning it helps kr.. also my iat was around 6 degrees over the outside temp.. stock airbox is around10..

That box looks factory and I don't see you having an issue getting it smogged in california.
Yest i showed my gf .. shes was like what did you do LOL....
I have a modualar pulley and some ap104.... funny thing they look all over my motor.. But long time ago i took it to smog and i had my nos hooked up and it passed it was funny..
