There is a Dude on CGP testing a plate that he was able to design. He has a set of plates made but its for a Gen V. He does plan to do extensive testing to show the gains. I want a set of the plates for my Gen V

Sweeeeet. This makes me wanna go through the hassle of doing an m90 on the Camaro. An m112 hybrid on that thing would be awesome.
Do you happen to have a link to said guy on CGP?
you cant link the Circa 1978 Club GP forum software. Its in General Chat Towards the top.
Just a pointer...it's a PITA to fit a regular GenIII M90 in an FBody without MAJOR modifications to the blower case...just think about a taller, wider, and longer M112 hybrid blower...sure would be cool if you did it.
Ohhh..hmmmm well then. I guess ill have to go hunting lol
Yes, I understand that it's a PITA. I've seen a few builds done. It's a ton of work but I think it could be done with a Gen V. And besides, who needs a cowl anyway? Especially when my hood covers it anyway. You'd probably never even be able to tell unless the car was parked and you were actually looking at it.
Not you I'm guessing...lol
Im in the process of the hybrid build fabing the spacer as we speak. I will dyno both on the same car and post my results
And when will this be done?
im at the mercy of the guys that are fabing but sooner the better damnit. Ive been in contact with overkill on this and he has been very helpful
I sent the guy on cgp a pm trying to get a plate but so far no response
Unfortunately the gains with an M112 over an M90 wont be much at all. They are inherently flawed and face the same thermal deficiency as the M90. These blowers make a lot of heat due to boost pressures, the speed at which they spin is much less of a factor. The 22 cubic inches would likely only benefit the most radical setups (heads/cam/ic/stroker) that are spinning the M90 with a 2.6 pulley or something. Then the gains (or losses) would mainly come from the difference in parasitic drag.
It's neat to tell people you have an M112... but other than that the M90 is the more logical choice.
Then once again, why are you putting an m62 on your car? lol
I'm not getting off topic but if your aiming to do that then your going backwards with the M62...just go look.
I'm not trying to insult anyone..BTW i'm very impatient lol..but anywho...lets stop cloggin up this thread and ill just wait to see what you come up with to combat the heat our stupid blowers make lol.
