2004 Comp G.....Keep getting message saying "Check Gas Cap"

Has anyone had that issue? If so, is that a sensor along the gas line?

    Thanks!

PS - I have checked to make sure the cap is on properly

I had the same thing. Gas jockey didn't put the gas cap on tightly. It'll go away after a couple days.

lol, thx for the responses. i thought i read somewhere that it could tie into the fuel filter somehow. i will keep an eye on it and see what happens. it comes on an awful lot to be a loose cap though.....
