'OO GTP keeps "farting out" whenever I give any type of agressive acelleration. Initially, I thought it was a fuel pressure issue. Since I changed the Cam and crank position sensors the vehicle is running better, and I now see that it only bogs or "farts" under boost. It is as if i can't get the smallest psi of boost before..."FART"! What gives?

Sine it did it before the cam.

Get new plug wires first (30 bux ones are fine)

New icm (about 100mi), newer plugs, newer cat(less than 2000mi) I don't have a scanner. It only happens under load (while car is in gear), primarily when attepting to pass, going uphill, even pulling away from a stop light. I can go for the vacuum leaks. I know that there was a fabricated jumble of mess coming from the fitting (vacuum?) extending out of the intake at the base of the SC. I don't know exactly how or what part that is supposed to be there but I created a T to connect two vacuum lines that were taped together in the fabricated jumble of mess and connected it to the intake. Don't know if that was correct, but that's what I did!

GO out get a cheap set of plug wires.
What you are seeing is a classic sign of bad plug wires or even a wire that was not fully on

hehe.... still giddy from this one - had the same problems... after single plug had been squashed, I replaced all plugs with iridium... didn't know any better :P and then it started "farting" under any boost. At my wits end, was told I probably had a vacuum leak. Then sat and had a beer reading this post and said nuts with it - got $30 wires (lifetime warranty), put them in, and oooooh babby!!! =D haven't felt that pull since my last modd =D

Sorry for doubting, didn't understand that more compression == higher resistance yep, energy was finding an easier ground.

    Cheers,
    Love the forum
