What do you have already, so we can tell you how to spend your money?

    a reminder for us:

My mods are in my sig pic, but I know they are a bit difficult to read, so I'll retype them. 3.4, 3"DP, INTENSE PCM, 180* t-stat, FWI, NGK TR6IX plugs soon to be AL104's this summer. I may be getting a P-log soon depending on how my modifications to a soon-to-arrive front manifold go.
Since you are running a 3.4 pulley with the mods you have listed. IMO a scanner should be your next purchase and make sure you use it.

Scanner sounds good. Any suggestions. I'm cheap.

The LS1M (LS1M) if you can find a good one used. You can't buy new anymore. I've heard Autotap, but I have no experience with it, personally. My favorite is the HPTuners but, it's not for the budget minded. Then you could always make friends with a local GPer.

One thing to note: A scanner seems a like a huge investment, but if it keeps you from blowing an engine, you are way ahead of the game.

That's a bit difficult since there are very few GP enthusiasts around here. The only one I've met so far no longer owns his. Anyone in the Northwest Arkansas area??

I know of one...but I'll let him speak for himself. He has a scanner/tuner.

I have an LS1m and it is great. I got it for $140 used with everything including a color Palm. I don't use it a whole lot, but it comes in handy and I like the peace of mind of having it. I now have an Aeroforce for daily monitoring but I still use the LS1m for logging. Sounds like you can't go wrong with most of the scanner options. I think the Alex Pepper scan tool (did I get that right?) can also do case learns which would come in handy.
