Ok so i bought a 98 gtp and the tranny started slippin first day so I bought a regal gs for parts car cheap that runs and drive. Well I changed the tranny filter and the tranny doesnt slip so that puts off the horrifying tranny swap for now lol. Well when I bought the car I knew one problem with it was the supercharger was makin noise guy told me it was bearings. So lets just say yesterday I ripped off the regal supercharger and attempted to put it on the gtp now. Of course the supercharger gasket is a dealer item and I am impatient so I bought gasket paper and attempted my own gasket. well lets say I dont think it worked right cause the car started and stalled so I think I cut it wrong so I am gonna order the right gasket today and see if that helps. I have a question about the supercharger on the regal its a 97 regal btw. The charger has two vaccum lines on it right near where the waste gate is and it doesnt have that on my gtp charger anyone have an idea what that is and do I just plug it ? Also I figured out it could have just been the coupler makin noise and I wasted a bunch of time. One other thing I did was had to change the fuel rail over because the bracket was a little different but I used my gtp injectors on it which had diff part numbers so I am just tryna make sure the regal charger will work.... thanks, Nick
Also I noticed on the gtp it says the car has a special coolant process and requires dexcool which I thought was orange well the coolant in the car is green is this bad? should I change it right away ?
