i was always looking for a guy who would do cheap head work. now i dont need head work since ill never outflow my stock head. maybe.
its a little baby n/a car. unless i go turbo...the kits are cheap..even though id just get an STi setup and swap it..
That's what I am saying you should see this legacy gt where I live... Just wow
nice work chico. the intake ports look HUGE!!!
im working on a set myself. slowly but surly
Bio,Nick... should I be able to tell the valves are bigger? I just got in my L32 heads from morad and have then next to the L67 ones and I can't tell any difference...
Also I know I will need the valve/guides machined down to accomadate for the higher .600 lift with the #130lbs springs. So would I need to give the machine shop the whole engine (long block) so they could know how much to take off or should any knowlagable shop be able to work with just the heads, valves, rockers and springs?
all they would need is the heads. but you need to find out how much needs to be milled down so they know how much to take off
they should be able to just have at it with the heads and the stuff that goes on them. unless they are stupid. some gaskets might help so they can open up all the intake/exhaust ports to those specs and no bigger.
also, only the intake valves are bigger. they arent much bigger, so im not sure youd be able to tell unless you took them out and measured them or lined them up right next to one another.
L67 intake valve is 1.80
L32 intake valve is 1.83
dang i thought it was more than that. going by the looks it looks like you cant go much bigger either.
