Very bad night, broke motor mount

David man that sucks bad dude good luck with getting the parts man. If I had the bracket I'd have it to you asap if i had one in my hands dude good luck.

The polished dogbones from 3800 are a little different from the stock dogbones. Most people tend to over tighten them and the aluminum mount bends in as it gets tighter. with the vibrations in the engine, it can cause them to snap.

The best advice I can give you is what Ed told me, make sure you tighten them, but not overly tight. Also, if you can get a washer to act as a spacer for those to go between the bushing and the mount, it'll help a little also.

Hopefully you can get a replacement in somewhat quick and get it all put together. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I have been told Ed Morad should be able to hook me up. If not you'll see a please help find me a bracket post LOL

that part only looks to be $22 for one side and $52 for the other, from one of the online GM parts retailers. Not sure which one is in the picture.

I know and if all goes well I should be able to if he can't just in case which one is it?

Cool, those guys are really good. Anytime they've had a question about what I ordered they've called me to verify instead of just potentially sending the wrong item.

dont feel bad. i have the same dog bones, same mounts, and whatnot, and i broke mine too. mine are slightly too small for the hole, and it snapped. i use some washers to make it right...
