I probably already know the answer to this question but I have to ask. Im looking at the performance kits on 3800 Performance, What I want to know is.... Do they offer enough in the kit to run with little or no KR?

No, read safely modding your 3800 and then go from there
Yes i've read that many times and many other posts. Just wishful thinking that maybe they added some magic powers to those parts
I was looking at kits myself a while back and found that they were missing a couple of pieces, and generally locked you in to a "proprietary" PCM that was "tuned" by the place selling the kit. Those tuned PCMs have been known not to be the best, to say the least. (Stay away from ZZP tuned PCMs for example. Go with a DHP PCM.) I opted to read the "Safely Modding..." thread and have gone from there.
Here is a link to make it easier on you...

yeah thats what im sayin. obviously its not the best tune, buy my dhp pcm from 3800performance works awesome. its a safe and reliable tune for my car
LOL @ performance kits.
'04+ car?
TDC FWI, 180* T-Stat. DHP PCM (From 3800 Performance), 3" Downpipe, PLOG, (or headers instead of he DP/PLOG), ZZP Modular Pulley System with a 3.6"...should be good enough for a knock free DD setup or something along those lines.

Yah I have an 05 Comp G.... Still havent decided on what to go with for my first mod. Looking at the zzp headers for ease of install and quality.
I agree that a DHP PCM FTW, but several of the places selling the "kits" are not using DHP PCMs (such as ZZP whose PCM is really bad from other people's experience). That was my point. Sorry for the confusion I created.
