i was just reading up on the safely modding your 3800 post and i have some questions.

if i have a downpipe and ubend delete already should i just go with the plog? or go with headers? and part of my exhaust is starting to rust, so would a catback be best? it said that they are rumored to harm the cars performance tho?
ooh and whats some good tips? that arent super expensive.
    and input helps. thanks

If you never plan on getting headers then get a PLOG...or if you like wasting money in the long run because you'll have to sell your PLOG & DP because they are not compatible with headers.

For the exhaust...if it is rusting just have some 2.5" pipe put in there...too bad your not closer as I have an entire stock catback I was planning to use, but probably never get around to using it want I want it for anyways...

As for the tips...EBay is your friend there man...that's where I got mine.

you can get 2.5 or 3". a 3" is a bad idea if you dont plan on boosting a ton bc youll have no back-pressure so i'd stick with the 2.5

Well I don't know for a fact or anything but a lot of guys on here will swear by the fact that a catback off the shelf does NOTHING for performance. I have a dp/plog combo that works great. Prob should have gotten headers though. I got my tips off ebay. They r exact gtx replicas and look sweet. I suppose exhaust is a persons personal preference.

You don't want backpressure on boosted cars anyways...only N/A.
