i have had a set of 1.8rrs sitting in my garage for like a year now and i was wondering if it would be safe to run them on a stock tune, i only have a cold air and catback exhaust, someone told me that it was safe but i just want to double check with you guys

i actually miss my honda, don't get me wrong i was never a rice burner but it got 35mpg no matter how i drove and it never broke down with 300x miles, but it is fun killing some of those hondas with a turbo kit that they think is fast

how much time did it take you to swap them out? Did you just use your existing springs or what did you put in?

it took me about 3 and a half hours, and yes i used the stock springs, i believe that you only need to change the springs if you are running 1.9s

Actually...unless they are modded 1.9 rockers....if you shift any higher than 6K when you get it tuned then your gong to get valve float with 1.9 rollers on stock springs.
