i decided to floor my car today for whatever reasong and i realized that i seem to not be making full boost on the meter on the DIC. could it be because of my new mods (roller rockers, pulley, and tune)

    No.

Something is wrong with your BBV. Possibly the vacume line going to it. And there is a slim chance it could be something related to the VAC line going to the MAP sensor.

Something is wrong with your BBV.
I also had a problem with my linkage getting stuck, had no boost at all. Probably as a result of MI winters or something. Anyway, hosed down with WD40 and worked it a bit and all is good.
There is also a chance that you have a leaky diaphram inside the BBV due to age or whatever. ZZP sells new ones.

the DIC is stupid, get a mechanical boost gauge to know fo real. if youre only getting 4-5 psi then yes, the BBV is messed up somehow.

i think ill do boost and oil pressure, then save up for an aeroforce so i can display whatever the hell i want on it and scan for stuff. i actually like the look of the pillar gauges in the car but of course thats not my sole reason for doing it

i dont think its actually a benefit... but its just a fix for if you cars not makin full boost. because i dont think the bbv is really necessary from what ive read

do not plug it, just disconnect the vacuum line. leave it open to the atmosphere on the lower nipple. it really doesnt do much, but it just makes it so that the BBV can be completely vacuum controlled so you can tune around the PCM dumping boost.

you are supposed to plug the line itself though right? not the BBV nipple
