I am almost done getting my engine put back together. all i have left to do is add fluids, hang the starter, and put the damper an belts on! Tomorrow it will be alive! Hopefully i have fixed all the problems. I guess i will find out tomorrow.

Yea exactly^. ive already been checkin things over a few times after i do them to make sure they are right an all torqued an ready to go. ill be doin a few more checks as i finish today though an making sure all is correct. i dont have any leftover bolts accept for one out of the very back of the lower motor mount that i decided was not going back in when i took it out, the other 4 are in though. No leftovers is always a good sign.

F*** me! Its still messed up. its a main bearing. The one i wanted to pull an was gonna pull but was told not to mess with it. o its fine my retired gm mechanic neighbor said. Well its not! It knocks just as bad as it did when i started the project. Yes he was right the tensioner was broken but no that was not the only problem. no all the metal in the pan was not just from the front cover and timing chain. Basically my engine have lots of pretty and expensive new parts but its not at all fixed. its still where i started really. Looks like they should have listened in the beginning and let me pull my engine in the first place then it would have been even easier to look at everything an he would have listened an let me pull the bearing an itd actually be fixed but o well i guess. looks like ill get to do it my way this time! Just have alot more work ahead of me. Sorry for the kind of ranting update. I'm just frustrated! All that work an money to overall pretty much get nowhere as far as fixing the true problem!
