I have a 2000 Grand Prix GTP and as soon as I get up to about 20 mph I start to hear a noise in the front end that sounds like something is winding up. The faster I go the louder it gets, almost sounds like the wheel is rubbing something, even though it's not. Car has never done this before. I also have a cold air intake just to give you guys a little more info. Car doesn't make the sound when ideling. Any ideas what I should check? Thanks,

Maybe a wheel bearing. Does the noise go away if you swerve one way or the other?

Just took it out for a spin. No, noise stays whether you turn or not, just gets louder the faster you go. Sounds like the wheel is rubbing something but I know it's not???

I bought the car a few months ago and the Air Intake was already installed, and still sounds the same. I noticed you guys mentioned the Supercharger maybe going bad. How can you tell? The noise happens regardless if the supercharger kicks in or not. Also does not make the noise when just idling or at a stoplight in gear. Tires are fairly new but I'm going to switch the back to the front and see if that makes a difference. Could have a bad tire in the front???????? Thanks guys! Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Got it looked at and come to find out, it was the wheel bearing. I've had plenty of bearings go out on my cars but none that sounded like this. Thanks guys!
