    Ok, so I got a 99 GTP four door for free. It has 245,000 miles, and when I got it, it ran perfect except for the supercharger making noises and same thing with the alternator. As soon as I got it I garaged it and replaced the supercharger, alternator, plugs, fuel filter, tps, maf, battery, and air filter. All new gaskets were used on the supercharger and throttle body. I also cleaned the throttle body as well. Now here's the problem; it randomly 'studders' or 'breaks up' between 2000 and 3000 rpm. Most of the time it runs PERFECT and pulls hard but sometimes it just breaks up between those rpms. Idle is fine. My mechanic, who is very good and works on my cars for free has a Snap On super deluxe scanner. Maf low input voltage came up after I put the new MAF on so I took it back and got a new one and still the same thing. It's not misfiring at all and I don't know what the hell is going on and I don't want to be a 'parts changer.' Someone PLEASE help and point me in the right direction.

    Bad wiring on the MAF? You said plugs...what about plug wires? Check the coil packs and clean off the ICM (par the coils sit on)...I know it says it is a MAF issue but it never hurts to get it out of the way now...

    The ICM is new so I shouldn't have to clean that off. The coil packs I did clean off and it feels like a misfire, but like I said it's not showing any misfires on any of the cylinders like it did on my Blazer 4.3 when the cap and rotor went. I asked my mechanic about the plug wires and he said it wouldn't be that and he also sprayed the wires and coil packs with water from a spray bottle and said if it were the wires it would instantly 'act up' when he sprayed them. The MAF wiring is correct, I never cut the plug and the wires in the plug are secure. I was just wondering if anyone has ever had this same problem in their car and maybe they could help, it's driving me ****ing nuts.

    did you take a meter and see what the actual voltage is at the MAF sensor location? maybe a loose or broken wire barely making connection..........just guesses.

    Hey glhking86... did you meter the voltage at the MAF yet? You still getting the low input voltage code? And does it still only happen between 2-3000 rpm?

    By the way, the much greater statement in this thread is that someone was driving a '99 GTP with 245,000 miles that RAN PERFECT! Take THAT, all you Toyota's, Honda's, and Subaru's of the world!
