Getting there. The other "nice" and "not so nice" thing about taking the car in for the downpipe install was that they did a full vehicle inspection. Here are some of the things that I need to fix:
R.F. wheel bearing is shot
Front sway bar is broken (a while back, another web site tried to diagnose my "clunk" sounds over bumps, and this seems like the issue)
Front brakes are needing replaced (I knew this already, but now I know about how much life is in them until it needs done).
Belts are cracked (plan on replacing when I drop the pulley size anyway).
They also said that my fuel filter was "needing attention", but I have no idea where that even is or how hard it is to replace (haven't searched yet).
My air filter is dirty, but as soon as TDC gets me my black coupler (hint hint), I can get my new FWI intake on.
So it looks like my list of parts is getting longer. I will be getting a set of GMPP sway bars, a new wheel bearing, new front brakes, possibly a new fuel filter. I was also wanting to get some G2 caliper paint since I will have the vehicle up for new brakes and other work.
Add to that list the PLOG that was originally next on my list, and it is getting pricey, but most of those really NEED to be done.
My trans. fluid is listed as "redish brown - black tent".... Not sure what the "tent" is...
Power steering fluid is "brown" and so is the brake fluid.
They also noted, as best as I can tell from their writing, under the pre-printed items of "22. Engine Oil Leaks and 23.Transmission Oil Leaks" that they "need attention" and used the words "Degrees Dye" or something like that which I can't read.
Lots to do.
