My S/C snout is "grungy" and it looks like it's coming from a small seep around the fill plug.

Does anyone know the part# for the rubber o-ring type seal on the supercharger oil fill plug? I guess the first question really is... Can I get just the seal or do I have to buy a new plug?

Maybe just a regular o-ring will work?

There's an O-Ring on the snout plug? I don't have one and mine has never leaked.

Well... There is definately an o-ring type seal on the fill plug of mine. It's a 98 GTP.

The seal in question is just under the head of the plug. The outside surface of the seal is chamfered/tapered, not round like an o-ring and it mates with a chamfered seat at the top of the fill hole threads. So, it doesn't look like a regular o-ring will work.

Interesting. Sounds like its most definitely going to be a dealer part then.

I have owned about 5 diff. blowers and they all had an o-ring around the plug. Nothing special, your local part store might have a set of o-rings they could sell you one from. Or, your local hardware store should as well. It's not vitton so a regular o-ring should work fine.
